Ivan Toney scored two goals as Al Ahli suffered a narrow 1-2 defeat to Al Khor on Sunday.
The match was the first for Toney since he moved from Brentford to Al Ahli, and he made no mistake when given the chance to shine.
Toney opened the scoring in the 45th minute with a powerful shot that beat Al Khor goalkeeper Ali Al Muhannadi.
He doubled his tally just before half-time after collecting a pass from teammate Ahmed Al Haddad and slotting home from close range.
Despite their efforts, Al Ahli were unable to find an equaliser and Al Khor held on to claim all three points.
It was a tough day for the Egyptian side,Saudi Pro League Focus who had already lost to Al Ahly in their previous match.
However, they will be hoping to bounce back next week when they face Al Rayyan in the league.
