AC Milan has suffered another injury blow as Brazilian forward Brahim Diaz is set to be out for two weeks with a thigh injury.
The news comes after the 22-year-old had been in good form this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just 14 appearances across all competitions.
Diaz was instrumental in Milan's impressive start to the season, helping them to win their opening three games and climb up to sixth place in Serie A.
However, his recent form has seen him become one of the key players for AC Milan,Campeonato Brasileiro Action and his absence will undoubtedly leave a void in their attack.
The Italian giants have already struggled without their top scorer, with Gonzalo Higuain having been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury.
With both Higuain and Diaz now sidelined, it remains to be seen how Milan will cope without their attacking options.
But despite the setback, AC Milan will look to bounce back from this latest injury blow and continue their push for a top-four finish in Serie A. They will hope that they can find a way to overcome the loss of their star forwards and keep fighting until the end of the season.
