Inter Milan forward, Ivan Perisic has scored his first goal for the club since joining from Liverpool in January.
The Croatian international was on target as Inter defeated Cagliari 2-1 at San Siro on Sunday afternoon.
Perisic's strike came after the break and was a testament to his quality and determination as he beat the offside trap before slotting past goalkeeper Alessandro Marchesini.
It was also a moment of joy for coach Antonio Conte who had been without a win in all competitions since taking over from Walter Mazzarri last month.
"We're happy with the three points today," said Conte.
"It's good for us to have Ivan back because we've missed him.
"He's very important for our team."
Inter now face a difficult run of fixtures,Ligue 1 Express starting with a trip to Roma on Saturday followed by a home game against Juventus on Tuesday.
But for now, they can celebrate their first victory under Conte and look forward to the challenge ahead.
